5.3.1   Train as Good/Spam

Normally, you will train SpamSieve by selecting a message in your mail client and choosing Train as Good or Train as Spam from SpamSieve’s menu bar icon or Dock icon (or, for mail clients other than Apple Mail and Outlook, by choosing the appropriate command within the mail program). This is necessary when doing an initial training because the messages aren’t in SpamSieve yet. However, once a messages has been filtered, if SpamSieve filtered it incorrectly, you can correct the mistake by selecting the message in SpamSieve’s Corpus or Log window and choosing Train as Good or Train as Spam from the Message menu. These commands within SpamSieve’s Message menu are not available when applications other than SpamSieve are active; you should instead use the commands at the top level of the menu bar icon or Dock menu.
