5.2.19   Import from iPhone Camera

The Import from iPhone or iPad command in the File menu uses Continuity Camera to allow direct importing from your iOS device into EagleFiler:

• Choose Take Photo to take a picture with the camera and add it to your EagleFiler library as a JPEG file.
• Choose Scan Documents to use your camera to scan a multi-page document and add it to your EagleFiler library as a PDF file.
• Choose Add Sketch to draw on your iPhone or iPad’s screen and then import the sketch to your EagleFiler library as a PNG file.

You can also import from your iPhone to create attachments within a rich text file (instead of separate files, as above). To do this, Control-click within the rich text file in the record viewer and choose Insert from iPhone or iPad.

Continuity Camera requires an iPhone with iOS 12 or later and a Mac with macOS 10.14 or later, amongst other requirements.
