It is not possible to turn off the AOL spam filter, however:
- You can set up SpamSieve to rescue good messages
caught by AOL’s junk filter and move the spam messages to SpamSieve’s
mailbox.
- You can tell AOL to move certain known good messages to a specific
folder to prevent them from being moved to Junk:
- Log into your AOL account using a Web browser.
- Go to Options ‣ Mail Settings ‣ Filter Settings ‣ Create filter.
- Under Look for incoming messages matching all of the follow,
select From contains and enter an e-mail address or domain.
- Next to Move matched messages to folder, select a folder for
your good messages. (Unfortunately, AOL does not let you select the
inbox itself.)
- Click Save.
