Mailbox turns to text file when dragging to new Library

Hi Michael,

I have a mailbox containing 1500 + records of assorted emails, that were initially merged using the “Merge Message Files” command.
The folder resides on a dropbox EF library. I would like to move the mailbox to a new library on my local drive.

The Dropbox EF library correctly identifies the Email mailbox. However, when I drag and drop it over a brand new library, the mailbox becomes a large text file.

I’m using the latest version of EF 1.6.2 on OSX 10.9.3.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One or more of the message files seems to have been in an invalid format, which caused EagleFiler not to recognize the merged file as a mailbox. I’ll make the next version of EagleFiler better at handling this situation.

EagleFiler 1.6.3 is more tolerant of messages there are malformed in this way.
