last sync (sort of) question...

rather than do a manual import/export, is it possible for a single database to be shared by two EF installations?

thanks,

dan

I’m not quite sure what you mean by “two installations.” Two different Macs can access the same library so long as they don’t have it open at the same time.

I was thinking of storing my EF database on my iDisk. Since the idisk is used both on and offline by two machines, I was wondering if there would be confusion when the two versions are syncing (that is, I make a change to EF on one local idisk, then the other, prior to either syncing.) My guess is that won’t work, huh? I’d need to keep the database on one of the two machines and access it via my LAN, I assume.

Yes, you shouldn’t change them both separately.
