After Update 2.9.35 Email no longer works

I am running macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.6
Airmail 3 Version 3.6.54 (537)
SpamSieve 2.9.35

Until I updated SpamSieve this afternoon everything worked great. After the update, I can no longer send or receive mail.

In looking at Airmail 3 - Preferences - Accounts - User - TEST IMAP, I get the following error:
IMAP TEST FAILED
The settings are not valid:
Unable to authenticate with the current session’s credentials.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

It sounds like this is either an issue with Airmail (which was itself recently updated) or the login information for your mail account. I don’t think it’s related to the SpamSieve update because no SpamSieve code runs in Airmail. It’s not involved in the IMAP connection at all. If you want to be sure, you could uncheck “Use SpamSieve” in Airmail’s preferences and see whether that makes a difference.
