Thread: Export CSV Functionality

    Default Export CSV Functionality

Hi - I'm trying to go through an exercise of exporting gmail data, importing this into eagle filer, exporting the data as a .csv and then running analysis.

Only issue is that the CSV Export functionality is not working for me.

No matter what I do when running the script my export file contains the column headers but no actual data.

Any ideas of where to begin troubleshooting?

    Thanks!

The Export CSV script only operates on records that are stored as individual files. This does not include e-mail messages stored within a single mailbox file. Supporting those records, too, is a feature that I’m working on. But for now you would need to extract the messages to individual files (i.e. drag and drop them to a folder) in order to use them with a script.

Got it - thanks for the clarification.
