    Default Scheduling MailMate Backups

Is there a way to schedule automatic backups of my MailMate emails? I would like the backups to occur at regular intervals—e.g., weekly. I can do it manually but automatic would be preferable. I was using MailSteward to do automatic backups, but that stopped working properly and I have not been successful in solving the problem, so I am considering Eaglefiler. Thanks.

There’s currently no built-in way to do that automatically. However, MailMate’s e-mails are stored in an easily accessible way, and EagleFiler’s importing is scriptable, so it should be possible to write a script to do that.
