I just installed SpamSieve yesterday and all seemed to have gone well. I trained a number of good and spam messages. This morning, I was trying to retrieve a deleted emails from support@c-command.com and forums@c-command.com that I received yesterday; however, the messages cannot be found, along with others. I’m accustomed to being able to search and find deleted emails (mostly from my Trash folder), but it seems that most of the emails I deleted yesterday are no longer in my system. Is there something in SpamSieve that permanently deletes emails so they can no longer be retrieved?
No, SpamSieve does not delete any e-mails (or even move them to the trash). It may be that your mail client or server was set to automatically delete old messages from the trash.
