Thread: Duplicate files in Multiple Files?

Default Duplicate files in Multiple Files?

I know that it is possible to have the same document (be it pdf or word doc etc.) in more than one EF Folder. I am wondering how to do this within EF itself. I know I can duplicate a document in the Finder and put a copy in one folder called, lets say "Vet" and one copy in "Cat" but if I drag and drop the document in EF from Vet to Cat it moves the file as opposed to making a copy and putting a second document in the Cat folder.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to duplicate the file and have it in BOTH folders?

Yes, currently the Duplicate Records script is the way to make a copy of a file within EagleFiler.
