Spamsieve blocks and hangs Outlook

My wife has a very large Outlook email database and uses Spamsieve 2.9.18 in conjunction with Outlook 14.4.7. Over the last few months she has found Outlook to block, meaning that it is utterly unresponsive. It turns out that if one force Quits SpamSieve, Outlook comes back to life. I’d like some ideas/instructions on how to debug this issue please? Len

It does not look like I ever received this information, so I’m assuming that the issue was resolved.
