Thread: MacBook v. iPhone

    Default MacBook v. iPhone

SpamSieve works pretty well BUT, unless my laptop is up and running 24/7, (must not be in sleep mode,) spam goes to my the INBOX on my iPhone.
Once I power up or awaken my macbook, all spam on iPhone goes from inbox to spam folder
Given that I use my iPhone all day and not my MacBook, is there a way to have go to the spam folder rather than INBOX on my iPhone?
    Thank you

SpamSieve needs to be running on the Mac in order for it to filter the mail. For SpamSieve to run, either the Mac needs to be on, or you need a newer Mac that supports PowerNap—in which case SpamSieve will filter the messages once an hour while the Mac is asleep.
