removing spam sieve

I’ve removed Spam Sieve according to the instructions in the manual. There are no rules for spamsieve. But when apple mail starts it is still looking for the app. The menu entries for Spam Sieve are still in the MESSAGE drop-down.

I can find no clists or bundles referencing Spam Sieve.

How do I remove it from Mail’s startup and the mail menus?

The Uninstalling SpamSieve instructions tell you where SpamSieve’s Apple Mail plug-in is installed. Make sure that you look in the Library folder in your home folder, not the top-level Library folder.

The path
/Users/<username>/Library/
does not exist on my machine. I’m running 10.7.1 (Lion).

The only library folder is the top level library folder. Here is the list of folders in my user home directory.

Everyone has that folder. The instructions explain how to access it on Lion.

Nope

I am running Mountain Lion, and I don’t have the User/Library folder.

Maybe it’s been set to invisible now, but it’s not there that I can see.

The instructions tell you how to access it even when it’s invisible:

To open the Library folder under Mac OS X 10.7 Lion or later, click to the Go menu in the Finder, hold down the Option key, and choose Library.
