Stuck at "Scanning for new files"

I opened a library file, when EagleFiler started scanning for new files and would not stop. I tried to quit it but it kept saying the library is in the process or something. Two screenshots are attached. I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

You can click on the spinning progress indicator or choose Window > Activity to open the Activity window. This will let you see what EagleFiler is doing, and you can click the “x” buttons to make it stop.

Probably not—it shouldn’t get stuck. Does this happen every time you open that library?
