I have not yet run into a problem concerning the number of records and the EagleFiler database size. I prefer to dump all of my brain into a single library. I was wondering if there is a real limit to the library database size. Right now I have a single Library with about 2000 records. I’m about to increase that considerably, and I really prefer to have a single library.

There’s no limit to the number of records that can be in a library. The only potential issue is that really large libraries will require more RAM and be somewhat slower. But you could probably grow your library tenfold or more and not notice any problems if you have a reasonably modern Mac.
