Error: Could not Save library

Recently I started receiving the following error when starting and closing EagleFiler:
Could not Save Library
An error occurred while saving
NSCocoaErrorDomain: 134030

While EagleFiler appears to open my library, the file is emtpy. I can open the same file on another computer running EagleFiler and all seems fine.
This is a nre problem and reinstalling and upgrading the application has made no difference.
Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks

That’s a general OS error that unfortunately doesn’t tell us much about why Core Data couldn’t save the database. Please e-mail me your log file:

/Users/<username>/Library/Logs/EagleFiler/EagleFiler.log

and I’ll try to take a closer look.

When you say “the same file” do you mean that you copied your EagleFiler library to another Mac? Or that you have two Macs accessing the same network drive? Or…?

Same Issue
Hello,

I just installed EagleFiler and the the same error appears:

Could not Save Library
An error occurred while saving
NSCocoaErrorDomain: 134030

I am working with macOS Sierra 10.12.6

Under: /Users/<username>/Library/Logs/ is no folder EagleFiler to find.

What do I have to do now? Thank you very much,

Tanja

EagleFiler now uses the system log. Please see this page.

Hi Michael,

I sent an email regarding the description. Thank you,

Tanja

Thanks. It looks like there’s a problem reading the file from your drive. The file may be damaged, or there may be something wrong with the drive itself. You could try rebuilding your library, but if problems persist you may need to repair or replace the drive.
