Thread: Library Name

    Default Library Name

I just started using EagleFiler yesterday and I imported a large part of my Apple Mail folders to EagleFiler for archiving, then deleted them from Apple Mail.

I realized that when I first started using Eaglefiler, I created my library and called it "temp testing" because I had intended to only use it as a trial.

Now that I'm really using EF and have put so much information into it, is there a convenient way to change the name of my library and the corresponding folder that it resides in to something friendlier than "temp testing"? I tried changing the file names manually through the Finder, but EF didn't like that at all...

It’s perfectly OK to rename the library folder and the .eflibrary file so long as the library isn’t currently open in EagleFiler.
