Any way to undelete a deleted grabbed mail?

In Mail.app I did an F1 and grabbed a mail to an Inbox container.

I then deleted the message in the container.

I expected it might be in the trash with other deleted items, but it isn’t.

Is there a way of undeleting a mail?

The trash shows files that are in the trash folder. The messages you imported are stored in a single mailbox file, not as individual per-message files. Thus, the deleted message is not actually in the trash. It’s still stored in the mailbox file, but hidden from view. Perhaps it would make sense to show it in the trash, but that’s not what EagleFiler currently does.

Choose View > Show > Deleted Messages, then select the message and press Delete.
