Error Opening Log File

Hi Michael,

Love your program and don’t know what I would do without it.

My spam filtering is not working so well now so following the FAQ instructions I tried to examine my log file but when I go to open the log file I get an error in Console, “error opening log file” and it crashes Console.

My guess is my corpus is too big the the forum says only to reset the corpus as a last resort.

In most cases, the corpus size is not the problem. The statistics show 99.5% accuracy, which doesn’t seem so bad. Could you e-mail me your log file, as described here?

Your log file opened normally in Console on my Mac. It shows that your mail program hasn’t asked SpamSieve to filter any messages since January 25. It hasn’t been trained with any messages since November 4. So, I think you should check the setup in your mail program and make sure that you are training SpamSieve whenever it makes a mistake.
