Which version of Thunderbird are you using? Do you see the SpamSieve plug-in in the Extensions/Add-ons window? Did you enable the adaptive filter for all your accounts?

version 1.5.0.10
i see the plugin installed
and in junk mail controls i have adaptive filter enabled

Did you enable it for all the accounts and for Local Folders?

If you select a message and click the Junk button, does it get marked with the green junk bin symbol and moved to the Junk folder? If you mark a message as Not Junk, does it remove the junk symbol?

where do i set that?

yes, thats working ok

In Tools > Junk Mail Controls, you have to configure the settings that you want separately for each choice in the “Configure Junk Settings for” pop-up menu.

i cannot get it to work:

i have used thunderbirds junk mail controls, maybe thats doing something wrong?

Aha, it looks like you’re using Mac OS X 10.2. SpamSieve’s Thunderbird integration requires 10.4.

yes i am…so no spamsieve for me?

Not with Thunderbird. All the other mail programs are supported back to 10.2, however.
