Alphabet tags

I just started shifting my email archives from Mail to EagleFiler and discovered something odd. The first time that I import a mailbox with messages that have MailTags tags on them, EagleFiler adds a bunch of alphabetical tags (ex.: a, b, c, d, e) some of which are capitalized, others of which are not.

After I’ve deleted the extraneous tags (which are never attached to any messages that I can tell), subsequent imports of messages with MailTags tags on them don’t add the extra tags any more.

I’m not sure why that would be. Please create a Zip archive of your mailbox from:

~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/

and e-mail it to me so that I can try to reproduce the problem here.

Email away. Let me know if you need anything else, or if you’re having trouble reproducing the problem.

I’ve located the bug, which is caused by importing a message that has a MailTags project. This will be fixed in the next release of EagleFiler.

Fixed in EagleFiler 1.1.4.
