ToothFairy is a Mac menu bar utility that lets you connect AirPods to your Mac with a single click or keypress. It also works with other Bluetooth headphones and with input devices such as mice, keyboards, and game pad controllers. You can see at a glance which devices are connected, as well as their battery levels. ToothFairy can also make music and videos sound better by using a higher quality codec for audio output.<\/p>\n\n<p>This is a free update that includes the following changes:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>The battery gauge uses twice as many gradations as before to show the battery level more precisely.<\/li>\n<li>The Control-click menu now shows the battery percentage on a separate line, to avoid having such a wide menu item.<\/li>\n<li>If you rename a Bluetooth device, the name now updates in ToothFairy without having to relaunch the app.<\/li>\n<li>The Bluetooth devices are now sorted by name in the <strong>Preferences<\/strong> window.<\/li>\n<li>Adjusted the battery level tooltip text so that it doesn\u2019t look funny if only one of the AirPods is connected.<\/li>\n<li>Worked around a crash on macOS 10.15 that could occur if the system asked you for permission to allow ToothFairy to control your Bluetooth device and you declined.<\/li>\n<li>Worked around a potential crash that could occur if a Bluetooth device\u2019s name couldn\u2019t be loaded.<\/li>\n<li>All the settings are now documented <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/toothfairy\/manual\">in the manual<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>ToothFairy 2.5.1 works with macOS 10.11 through 10.15 and requires a Bluetooth device.
