SpamSieve gives you back your inbox, using <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/identifying-spam\">Bayesian spam filtering<\/a> to provide amazing accuracy that\u2019s constantly improving. SpamSieve learns and adapts to your mail, so it\u2019s able to block nearly all the junk\u2014without putting good messages in the spam mailbox. It\u2019s quick and easy to control SpamSieve from within Apple Mail, Airmail, Entourage, MailMate, Mailsmith, Outlook, Postbox 5, PowerMail, and more.<\/p>\n<p>SpamSieve running on your Mac can keep the spam off your <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/iphone-spam-filtering\">iPhone\/iPad<\/a>, and you can even train SpamSieve <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/setting-up-a-spam-filte\">from your iOS device<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>SpamSieve protects your privacy. It does not need access to your mail account login and does not transmit your mail data anywhere. All the processing is done on your Mac.<\/p>\n<p>This is a free update that includes the following changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Made various changes to improve SpamSieve\u2019s filtering accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>When using Outlook 365, you can now use Outlook rules to organize messages into folders, and SpamSieve will filter them (rather than just the messages in the inbox). The details for how to set this up are in <strong>Filtering Other Folders<\/strong> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/setting-up-outlook-365\">Setting Up Outlook 365<\/a> section of the manual. (This has always worked automatically, with no special setup, in previous versions of Outlook and in Apple Mail.)<\/li>\n<li>After you manually refilter messages in Outlook, SpamSieve now clears the selection to prevent accidental bulk training when correcting a spam message that remains.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a problem where some Apple Mail messages that were colored as spam still displayed with white text in Dark Mode, which was difficult to read.<\/li>\n<li>Improved the following sections of the manual:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/does-spamsieve-stop-web\">Does SpamSieve stop Web bugs?<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/how-can-i-hide-spamsiev\">How can I hide SpamSieve\u2019s Dock icon?<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/security-privacy-acce\">Security &amp; Privacy Access<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/setting-up-airmail\">Setting Up Airmail<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/why-do-apple-mail-messa\">Why do Apple Mail messages bounce back to the inbox after I train them as spam?<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If SpamSieve encounters an error because your Mac\u2019s storage is full, it now displays information about the free space available and recommends <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/HT206996\">Apple\u2019s guide<\/a> to freeing up storage space.<\/li>\n<li>SpamSieve reports a more useful error message if it determines that the reason its application package is damaged is because it\u2019s running from a Carbon Copy Cloner safety net.<\/li>\n<li>Improved the error message when uninstalling the Apple Mail plug-in if SpamSieve hasn\u2019t been granted Full Disk Access.<\/li>\n<li>Improved the error message when SpamSieve doesn\u2019t have access to your Contacts.<\/li>\n<li>Worked around a problem where asking Apple Mail for the list of mailboxes could cause it to hang at launch.<\/li>\n<li>When training a good message in Apple Mail, if SpamSieve can\u2019t find the proper inbox it logs more information to help figure out what happened.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a bug displaying the number of licenses in the <strong>Purchase<\/strong> window.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a bug where debug logging of messages that caused parser crashes wasn\u2019t working with Apple Mail.<\/li>\n<li>The diagnostic report now includes information about when the privacy database was last reset.<\/li>\n<li>Diagnostic reports now work better when SpamSieve lacks Full Disk Access.<\/li>\n<li>Updated to Xcode 10.2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SpamSieve 2.9.36 works with macOS 10.7 through 10.14 and requires an <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/requirements\">e-mail client<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/support#older-versions\">Older versions<\/a> are available for older operating systems.
