This is a free update that includes the following changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Made various changes to improve SpamSieve\u2019s filtering accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a database bug that could cause SpamSieve to crash when processing a particular type of spam message containing garbage Unicode characters in the subject.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/scripts\/spamsieve\/outlook-filter-mailboxes\">Outlook - Filter Mailboxes<\/a> now checks for new inbox messages every 1 minute by default (instead of 5), is more efficient, and is able to filter inboxes with localized names that were previously ignored.<\/li>\n<li>Updated the <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/requirements\">Requirements<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/setting-up-postbox\">Setting Up Postbox<\/a> sections of the manual. Postbox 6 no longer supports plug-ins, so we recommend continuing to use Postbox 5 for the time being or using the Apple Mail drone setup in the background.<\/li>\n<li>The Outlook sections of the manual have been renamed to <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/setting-up-outlook-365\">Setting Up Outlook 365<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/setting-up-outlook-2011\">Setting Up Outlook 2011<\/a> for clarity.<\/li>\n<li>Improved the following sections of the manual:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/automatically-deleting\">Automatically Deleting Old Spam Messages<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/checking-the-apple-mail\">Checking the Apple Mail Setup<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/setting-up-mailmate\">Setting Up MailMate<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/using-a-spam-mailbox-on\">Using a Spam Mailbox on the Server<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Worked around a bug in macOS 10.13 that could cause an internal error at launch when resolving an alias.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/scripts\/spamsieve\/apple-mail-discard-spam\">Apple Mail - Discard Spam<\/a> script is better able to work around Mail slowness that could leave spam messages stranded in the trash.<\/li>\n<li>Diagnostic reports now include more information about localizations and SpamSieve helper processes.<\/li>\n<li>Made various minor code updates.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a crash reporter bug that could prevent some information from being logged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SpamSieve 2.9.31 works with macOS 10.7 through 10.13 and requires an <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/requirements\">e-mail client<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/support#older-versions\">Older versions<\/a> are available for older operating systems.
