This is a free update that includes the following changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Works with Apple Mail under Mac OS X 10.10.1. It\u2019s easiest if you <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/updating-from-a-previou\">update to SpamSieve 2.9.18<\/a> before updating to Mac OS X 10.10.1. (To prevent Mac OS X from updating itself without asking you, go to the <strong>App Store<\/strong> section of <strong>System Preferences<\/strong> and make sure that <strong>Install OS X updates<\/strong> is unchecked.) In any case, if you don\u2019t see the SpamSieve commands in Apple Mail\u2019s <strong>Message<\/strong> menu, be sure to choose <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/install-apple-mail-plug\">Install Apple Mail Plug-In<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/the-spamsieve-menu\">the SpamSieve menu<\/a>. Otherwise, with the SpamSieve plug-in not installed, Mail will <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/why-is-every-message-go\">move good messages to the spam mailbox<\/a> without consulting SpamSieve.<\/li>\n<li>Added preliminary support for <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.office.com\/2014\/10\/31\/new-outlook-mac-available-office-365-customers\/\">Microsoft Outlook 15.3<\/a> (part of Office 365). This is described in the <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/setting-up-outlook-15\">Setting Up Outlook 15<\/a> section of the manual.<\/li>\n<li>Added the following sections to the manual:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/setting-up-outlook-15\">Setting Up Outlook 15<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/checking-the-outlook-15\">Checking the Outlook 15 Setup<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/what-can-i-do-if-apple\">What can I do if Apple Mail is crashing?<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Improved the following sections of the manual (among others):\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/setting-up-airmail\">Setting Up Airmail<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/setting-up-gyazmail\">Setting Up GyazMail<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/setting-up-mailmate\">Setting Up MailMate<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/why-does-spamsieve-alwa\">Why does SpamSieve always need an update when Mac OS X is updated?<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/scripts\/spamsieve\/apple-mail-discard-spam\">Apple Mail - Discard Spam script<\/a> is faster and more reliable for large mailboxes.<\/li>\n<li>Improved the error reporting when writing to the log file and the disk is full.<\/li>\n<li>SpamSieve is better able to recover from incorrect launch agent file ownership.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/quit-when-mail-client-q\">Quit when mail client quits<\/a> feature now works with Airmail 2.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Blocklist<\/strong> and <strong>Whitelist<\/strong> windows now display the number of rules using commas if there are more than 1,000.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/purchase\">Purchase\u2026<\/a> window now accepts serial numbers copied and pasted from a PDF of an order confirmation, after the browser has transliterated the dashes.<\/li>\n<li>Updated the toolbar icons for Mac OS X 10.10.<\/li>\n<li>Updated the disk image icon for Mac OS X 10.10.<\/li>\n<li>Worked around a bug in Mac OS X 10.10 that could cause SpamSieve to freeze at launch.<\/li>\n<li>Worked around a string encoding conversion bug in Mac OS X 10.10.<\/li>\n<li>The crash reporter now reports more information if it couldn\u2019t find any matching crash log files.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SpamSieve 2.9.18 works with Mac OS X 10.6 through 10.10 and requires an <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/requirements\">e-mail client<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/support#older-versions\">Older versions<\/a> are available for older operating systems.
