This is a free update that includes the following changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Works with Apple Mail under <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/go\/yosemite\">Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite<\/a>. It\u2019s easiest if you <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/updating-from-a-previou\">update to SpamSieve 2.9.17<\/a> before updating to Mac OS X 10.10. In any case, if you don\u2019t see the SpamSieve commands in Apple Mail\u2019s <strong>Message<\/strong> menu, be sure to choose <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/install-apple-mail-plug\">Install Apple Mail Plug-In<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/the-spamsieve-menu\">the SpamSieve menu<\/a>. Otherwise, with the SpamSieve plug-in not installed, Mail will <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/why-is-every-message-go\">move good messages to the spam mailbox<\/a> without consulting SpamSieve.<\/li>\n<li>Added the following sections to the manual:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/does-spamsieve-stop-web\">Does SpamSieve stop Web bugs?<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/why-do-good-messages-mo\">Why do good messages move to the wrong inbox when trained in Apple Mail?<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/why-does-a-message-disa\">Why does a message disappear or go back to the spam mailbox after I train it as good?<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/does-spamsieve-prevent\">Does SpamSieve prevent me from receiving messages?<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/can-other-apple-mail-pl\">Can other Apple Mail plug-ins cause problems with SpamSieve?<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Improved the following sections of the manual (among others):\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/correct-all-mistakes\">Correct All Mistakes<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/how-should-i-configure\">How should I configure the junk filter on my mail server?<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/iphone-spam-filtering\">iPhone Spam Filtering<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/show-whitelist\">Show Whitelist<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/updating-from-a-previou\">Updating From a Previous Version<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Updating OS versions is smoother since SpamSieve is better at finding disabled copies of its Apple Mail plug-in.<\/li>\n<li>Worked around a change in Mac OS X that could cause the <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/quit-when-mail-client-q\">Quit when mail client quits<\/a> feature to not work when running in Japanese.<\/li>\n<li>Improved the crash reporter\u2019s error reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Improved debug logging for the Apple Mail training scripts.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a bug where SpamSieve could crash if there was an error writing to its log file.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a bug where SpamSieve would, in rare cases, try to change the ownership of a temporary folder unnecessarily.<\/li>\n<li>We need help keeping SpamSieve\u2019s Japanese localization up-to-date.
