This update includes the following new features and bug fixes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can now use the <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/eaglefiler\/manual-ah\/export\">Export\u2026<\/a> command to export the\nselected messages in mbox format, so that they can be\nimported into any mail program.<\/li>\n<li>The names of <tt>To Import<\/tt> folders now include the\nlibrary name, so that you can tell them apart in a Finder\nor open panel sidebar.<\/li>\n<li>Can now capture from <a href=\"http:\/\/codesorcery.net\/pukka\">Pukka<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/nightly.webkit.org\">WebKit Nightly<\/a>. When\ncapturing from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barebones.com\/products\/yojimbo\/\">Yojimbo<\/a>, now preserves the label as an\nEagleFiler tag. When capturing from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scifihifi.com\/cocoalicious\/\">Cocoalicious<\/a>,\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.journler.com\">Journler<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barebones.com\/products\/yojimbo\/\">Yojimbo<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.happyapps.com\/webnotehappy\/\">WebnoteHappy<\/a> now preserves the\ntitle rather than extracting it from the file.<\/li>\n<li>The label colors now more closely match those in the\nFinder, and the pop-up menu sorts alphabetically.<\/li>\n<li>The tooltip for the <strong>Tags<\/strong> column in the records list\nnow shows the names of all the assigned tags.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/eaglefiler\/manual-ah\/allow-duplicate-files-i\">Allow duplicate files in library<\/a> is now a full\npreference.<\/li>\n<li>When copying tags to Spotlight comments, EagleFiler now\nseparates the tag names with a space instead of a\ncomma-space, and there is an <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/eaglefiler\/manual-ah\/esoteric-preferences\">esoteric preference<\/a> to\nset a tag prefix such as <tt>&amp;<\/tt>.<\/li>\n<li>When copying files into the library, now copies the\nSpotlight comments, too.<\/li>\n<li>Added tooltips to help with setting tag abbreviations in\nthe inspector.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/eaglefiler\/manual-ah\/backup-metadata\">Backup Metadata<\/a> command can now be used to force\nEagleFiler to copy the tags to the Spotlight comments, if\nyou don\u2019t want to wait for this to happen automatically.<\/li>\n<li>Added <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/eaglefiler\/manual-ah\/esoteric-preferences\">esoteric preference<\/a> to make EagleFiler display\nWeb pages using their print stylesheets.<\/li>\n<li>When <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/eaglefiler\/manual-ah\/writing-capture-scripts\">writing a capture script<\/a>, if you obtain the tag\nnames as a single string, you can pass it as\n<tt>|tagsString|<\/tt> to let EagleFiler parse it into\nindividual tag names.<\/li>\n<li>You can now select more than one error at a time in the\n<a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/eaglefiler\/manual-ah\/errors\">Errors<\/a> window.<\/li>\n<li>Adjusted the word characters used for indexing to make it\neasier to find words containing <tt>$<\/tt>, <tt>&#64;<\/tt>, <tt>%<\/tt>, and\n<tt>_<\/tt>. (This will only take effect after rebuilding the\nindexes.)<\/li>\n<li>Made some changes to the <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/eaglefiler\/manual-ah\/new-library\">New Library\u2026<\/a> interface to\nmake it more clear that the maximum library size only\napplies to encrypted libraries.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed regression where EagleFiler couldn\u2019t open\nlibraries inside folders with non-ASCII names.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed regression where the <strong>Info<\/strong> inspector sometimes\ndisplayed information for the wrong record(s).<\/li>\n<li>Fixed bug where <tt>.webloc<\/tt> files in the <tt>To Import<\/tt>\nfolder were not deleted after importing.<\/li>\n<li>If EagleFiler encounters an error while importing a file\nin a <tt>To Import<\/tt> folder, it now moves the file to the\n<tt>Unable to Import<\/tt> folder so that it won\u2019t encounter\nthe same error again the next time it scans the <tt>To\nImport<\/tt> folder.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed bug importing WMA URLs.<\/li>\n<li>Worked around crash due to bug in Search Kit.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed bug where the records list lost focus when a\nsearch was active and you clicked on a Web archive.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed bug with the foreground color of highlighted text\nin the records list.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed bug where EagleFiler would be slow and could run\ninto an OS error when capturing a large number of\ndocuments at once.<\/li>\n<li>Made various error reporting improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Improved undo in the inspectors.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed cosmetic bug with the <strong>Reveal In Library<\/strong>\nbutton.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed interface glitch where it looked as though\nEagleFiler would let you move the trash and smart folders\naround.<\/li>\n<li>EagleFiler will no longer crash when opening a library\non pre-release versions of Mac OS X 10.5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EagleFiler 1.2.1 is now available.
