This is a free update. If you already have SpamSieve 2.5 or 2.6 installed, the easiest way to update is by choosing Software Update from the SpamSieve menu. Just click the \u201cDownload &amp; Install\u201d to automatically update your copy of SpamSieve to the latest version.<\/p>\n<p>If you are using an older version of SpamSieve or have FileVault enabled, you should instead click the \u201cDownload\u201d button in the Software Update window, or download the new version <a href=\"http:\/\/c-command.com\/downloads\/SpamSieve-2.6.1.dmg\">from this site<\/a>, and then follow the \u201cUpdating to SpamSieve 2.6.1\" instructions in the Read\nMe file.<\/p>\n<p>This update includes the following fixes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed regression where SpamSieve wouldn\u2019t launch if you had\na large number of Mac OS 9 sound files.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed bug where Thunderbird messages that were manually\nmarked as junk weren\u2019t moved to the junk folder. If you are\nusing Thunderbird, first update to SpamSieve 2.6.1, then\nchoose <strong>Install Thunderbird Plug-In<\/strong> from the\n<strong>SpamSieve<\/strong> menu to update the plug-in.<\/li>\n<li>Made change prevent crash on Mac OS X 10.4.9 when quitting\nin response to a mail program quitting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SpamSieve has been updated to version 2.6.1.
