It also works with other Bluetooth headphones and with input devices such as mice, keyboards, and game pad controllers. You can see at a glance which devices are connected, as well as their battery levels. ToothFairy can make music and videos sound better by using a higher quality codec for audio output. It can also run scripts when Bluetooth devices connect or disconnect.<\/p>\n\n<p>This is a free update that includes the following changes:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/toothfairy\/images\/2.7\/battery-status@2x.png\" title=\"See multiple Bluetooth devices at once, including their battery levels.\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" align=\"right\" width=\"161\" alt=\"See multiple Bluetooth devices at once, including their battery levels.\" src=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/toothfairy\/images\/2.7\/battery-status-thumb%402x.png\" height=\"46\" \/><\/a>The battery info updates more quickly after connecting a device.<\/li>\n\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/toothfairy\/images\/2.7\/advanced@2x.png\" title=\"Advanced Settings\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"161\" alt=\"Advanced Settings\" src=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/toothfairy\/images\/2.7\/advanced-thumb%402x.png\" align=\"right\" height=\"141\" \/><\/a>The <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/toothfairy\/help\/run-shell-script-after\">Run shell script after connecting\/disconnecting<\/a> help page now explains how to trigger a shortcut.<\/li>\n\t<li>ToothFairy is better at remembering the current sound input device so that the <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/toothfairy\/help\/improve-sound-quality-b\">Improve sound quality by disabling audio input from device<\/a> feature will restore the proper one after connecting a new device.<\/li>\n\t<li>You can now pull down a device\u2019s menu while the connection progress indicator is spinning.<\/li>\n\t<li>ToothFairy no longer shows arrow icons while it\u2019s in the process of fixing the sound output, as this was confusing. Instead, it will continue showing the device as half-connected until it\u2019s done. You can still see what\u2019s happening with the fixing via the tooltip and the menu item text.<\/li>\n\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/toothfairy\/images\/2.7\/settings@2x.png\" title=\"Device Settings\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" align=\"right\" width=\"161\" alt=\"Device Settings\" src=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/toothfairy\/images\/2.7\/settings-thumb%402x.png\" height=\"141\" \/><\/a>If the feature to fix the sound output is disabled, clicking the half-connected device icon now disconnects the device instead of doing nothing.<\/li>\n\t<li>Each help page now has a link to a Google translation so you can view it in a different language.<\/li>\n\t<li>Updated the French localization.<\/li>\n\t<li>Fixed a bug where the progress indicator wouldn\u2019t stop if you clicked the menu bar icon when using the <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/toothfairy\/help\/don-t-disconnect-when-c\">Don\u2019t disconnect when clicking icon or pressing hotkey<\/a> option.<\/li>\n\t<li>Made various fixes and updates to prevent Cocoa from logging warnings.<\/li>\n\t<li>Made various threading improvements.<\/li>\n\t<li>The build number is now displayed in a tooltip in the <strong>About<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\t<li>Mac App Store receipt validation works better on Macs with damaged Ethernet ports.<\/li>\n\t<li>The Setapp version of ToothFairy now requires macOS 12 or later, due to updating to version 4.1.0 of their framework.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>ToothFairy 2.8.4 works with macOS 10.13 through macOS 14 and requires a Bluetooth device.
