It\u2019s quick and easy to control SpamSieve from within Apple Mail, Airmail, Entourage, MailMate, Mailsmith, Outlook, Postbox 5, PowerMail, and more.<\/p>\n\n<p>SpamSieve running on your Mac can keep the spam off your <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/iphone-spam-filtering\">iPhone\/iPad<\/a>, and you can even train SpamSieve <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/setting-up-a-spam-filte\">from your iOS device<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p>SpamSieve protects your privacy. (An additional update was required due to late changes in Monterey Developer Beta 9.) We recommend <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/updating-from-a-previou\">updating SpamSieve<\/a> before updating to Monterey. SpamSieve 2.9.46 should automatically update the installed version of its Apple Mail plug-in, however if you don\u2019t see the SpamSieve commands in Apple Mail\u2019s <strong>Message<\/strong> menu, be sure to choose <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/install-apple-mail-plug\">Install Apple Mail Plug-In<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/the-spamsieve-menu\">the SpamSieve menu<\/a> and to <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/enabling-and-updating-t\">enable the plug-in<\/a>.<\/li>\n\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/images\/2.9.40\/apple-mail-message-menu@2x.png\" title=\"Control SpamSieve from within your mail program.\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"161\" alt=\"Control SpamSieve from within your mail program.\" src=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/images\/2.9.40\/apple-mail-message-menu-thumb%402x.png\" height=\"227\" align=\"right\" \/><\/a>When you train a message as good, and SpamSieve is moving the message back to the inbox, it\u2019s better at handling localized inbox names.<\/li>\n\t<li>The <strong>Train as Good<\/strong> command in Apple Mail now moves messages out of spam\/junk mailboxes that have a leading space in the name for sorting.<\/li>\n\t<li>Updated the crash reporter for macOS 12 Monterey.<\/li>\n\t<li>Improved the following sections of the manual: \n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/sending-in-a-sample-r\">Sending in a \u201cSample\u201d Report<\/a><\/li>\n\t\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/switching-from-the-spam\">Switching From the Spam Mailbox to the Junk Mailbox<\/a><\/li>\n\t<\/ul>\n\t<\/li>\n\t<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/scripts\/spamsieve\/apple-mail-remote-training\">Apple Mail - Remote Training<\/a> script is now able to find training mailboxes that are nested in other folders.<\/li>\n\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/images\/2.9.40\/spamsieve-filters-prefs@2x.png\" title=\"Set which filters SpamSieve uses.\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"161\" alt=\"Set which filters SpamSieve uses.\" src=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/images\/2.9.40\/spamsieve-filters-prefs-thumb%402x.png\" height=\"157\" align=\"right\" \/><\/a>The <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/scripts\/spamsieve\/apple-mail-server-junk-mailbox\">Apple Mail - Server Junk Mailbox<\/a> script is better at handling errors.<\/li>\n\t<li>Added <tt>AppleMailTrainGoodMoveAlways<\/tt> to the <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/esoteric-preferences\">esoteric preferences<\/a>, which can work around a problem with Gmail where Mail does not report the trained message as being in the right mailbox, so SpamSieve decides not to move it when training as good.<\/li>\n\t<li>Worked around a problem where an internal Apple Mail error could prevent messages from moving to the inbox when you trained them as good.<\/li>\n\t<li>Fixed a bug where the <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/scripts\/spamsieve\/apple-mail-remote-training\">Apple Mail - Remote Training<\/a> script could fail after <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/switching-from-the-spam\">Switching From the Spam Mailbox to the Junk Mailbox<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>SpamSieve 2.9.46 works with macOS 10.9 through 12.0 and requires an <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/requirements\">e-mail client<\/a>. Older <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/version-history\">SpamSieve versions<\/a> are <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/support#older-versions\">available<\/a> for older versions of macOS.
