SpamSieve 2.9.44 should automatically update the installed version of its Apple Mail plug-in, however if you don\u2019t see the SpamSieve commands in Apple Mail\u2019s <strong>Message<\/strong> menu, be sure to choose <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/install-apple-mail-plug\">Install Apple Mail Plug-In<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/the-spamsieve-menu\">the SpamSieve menu<\/a> and to <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/enabling-and-updating-t\">enable the plug-in<\/a>.<\/li>\n\t<li>Made various changes to improve SpamSieve\u2019s filtering accuracy.<\/li>\n\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/images\/2.9.40\/spamsieve-filters-prefs@2x.png\" title=\"Set which filters SpamSieve uses.\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"161\" alt=\"Set which filters SpamSieve uses.\" src=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/images\/2.9.40\/spamsieve-filters-prefs-thumb%402x.png\" height=\"157\" align=\"right\" \/><\/a>In most cases, updating SpamSieve\u2019s Mail plug-in on macOS 11 no longer requires the plug-in to be re-enabled. It will just keep working after the update.<\/li>\n\t<li>Improved the following sections of the manual: \n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/checking-the-mailmate-s\">Checking the MailMate Setup<\/a><\/li>\n\t\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/installing-spamsieve\">Installing SpamSieve<\/a><\/li>\n\t\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/turning-off-the-aol-spa\">Turning Off the AOL Spam Filter<\/a><\/li>\n\t\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/turning-off-the-icloud\">Turning Off the iCloud Spam Filter<\/a><\/li>\n\t<\/ul>\n\t<\/li>\n\t<li>On macOS 12, SpamSieve changes the keyboard shortcut for Mail\u2019s <strong>Show\/Hide Sidebar<\/strong> menu command to Command-Option-S. This avoids a conflict with the <strong>SpamSieve - Train as Spam<\/strong> command and makes Mail consistent with other apps such as Finder.<\/li>\n\t<li>Updated the <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/scripts\/spamsieve\/outlook-filter-mailboxes\">Outlook Filter Mailboxes<\/a> helper app to to work around a macOS bug that could cause messages to be left in the <strong>InboxSpamSieve<\/strong> folder on Apple Silicon Macs. If you are seeing this problem, you should quit Outlook Filter Mailboxes and replace it with a freshly downloaded copy.<\/li>\n\t<li>Optimized the text coloring in Mail\u2019s message list on macOS 11.<\/li>\n\t<li>Improved the Apple Mail diagnostic report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>SpamSieve 2.9.44 works with macOS 10.9 through 12.0 and requires an <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/requirements\">e-mail client<\/a>. Older <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/help\/version-history\">SpamSieve versions<\/a> are <a href=\"https:\/\/c-command.com\/spamsieve\/support#older-versions\">available<\/a> for older versions of macOS.
