I’m using SpamSieve with Apple Mail. Mail is seen via IMAP (multiple servers).
My mail infrastructure has been built up over a number of years and does a substantial amount of server side filtering - in particular the vast majority of messages are stashed into folders on delivery rather than ever being put into INBOX.
Apple Mail (and hence SpamSieve) has problems with this when filtering - basically it does not appear to (most of the time) apply filters to stuff that is not in INBOX (unless you explicitly select messages and Apply Rules).
Is there a means to persuade Apple Mail to apply the rules to all newly seen email?
Nigel.
