There are currently some bugs that prevent DropDMG 3.1.3 from always working properly on Macs with Retina displays. The affected features are:
- The Custom volume icon option (in Automatic mode).
- Background pictures for Layouts (when deployed on pre-10.7 Macs).
If you use one of these new Macs, please contact me via e-mail to try a beta version of DropDMG that addresses these issues.

These bugs are fixed in DropDMG 3.2.
