I also have this issue. I moved my data to a new computer using Apple’s migration assistant. At the time I was using Entourage and everything worked well. After I installed MS Office 2011 for Mac and Outlook, Spam Seive 2.8.4 would no longer place messages in the right category.
- read the manual and set up Outlook as it instructed. I have checked the rules a few times and they are as stated in the manual.
- I rebuilt Outook’s database
- I loaded the transferred Entourage white list into SpamSieve and I loaded the “My Card” contact from Address Book into spam Sieve. The SpamSieve log indicates that it has that white list in its corpus.
- I train SpamSieve every time I get messages.
- I went through the trouble shooing section here and followed it’s recommendations. The Spam rule appears to be working but nothing here talks about checking on “good” messages ending in the Junk folder.
The result is SpamSieve moves almost all messages into the Junk Folder, including those on my white list, my personal email address (I don’t exclude it) and messages I have trained as good again and again.
Here is a snippet of the SpamSieve Log from this morning.

As you see, it appears to be identifying good mail but the messages ALL go to the Junk folder. I don’t know what to do next. Thanks for your advice.
I am running a 27" iMac using OSX 10.6.5.
