item view not updated

Sometimes when I choose a new item in the item list, the item window isn't updated. Instead, the last choosen item is still viewed. It only seems to happen with web archives.

This probably means that EagleFiler encountered an error when displaying that record. Do you see anything of note at the bottom of the log file:

~/Library/Logs/EagleFiler/EagleFiler.log

? Are there particular Web archives that consistently are not displayed?

It now seems like the choosen item eventually is displayed. Could it be that EF tries to download embedded graphics from advertising networks or something, that causes the delays of 4-5 minutes?

It's possible, although I wouldn't expect that to delay the display of the entire page, just the graphics. I'm working on a new version of EagleFiler that works around a bug in Web Kit where it needlessly tries to fetch page resources over the network.
