Default Print to EF puts it in the foreground

    Hello,

I'm often printing receipts directly to EagleFiler (using the PDF menu of the print pane), and I cannot find a way to keep EF in the background when doing so (just like when importing a file). Is there a way to configure this?

    Thanks,

    Alan

The way that feature works is that the OS creates a PDF file and then tells EagleFiler to open it. This naturally brings the application to the front.

You could perhaps create an AppleScript droplet whose on open handler told EagleFiler to import the files. Then the OS would open the droplet instead of EagleFiler.
