I'm trying to figure out how to get Spotlight comments imported as tags.

At present it works if you press the capture key with individual files selected in the Finder. Obviously, there's a lot of room to expand this, but I figured this much would be useful on its own.

Near as I can tell, this works for me when dragging to a drop pad, but not to the dock icon. Is there no workaround?

That explains it. I was just dragging into the library or onto the pad.

At present, EagleFiler is only able to access the URL if you drop onto a window or the Drop Pad, not if you drop onto the Dock icon. I'm not sure at this time whether the latter is possible (at first glance it seems OS X doesn't support it), but I will look into it.
