A way to get an x-eaglefiler:// link to tag or smart folder?

Is there a way to get the x-eaglefiler:// style external link which will select a Tag or Smart Folder item in the source list? I sometimes use tags to track active communication threads, and sometimes also like to cross-reference these thread tags. Having an active link to the tag from the document would be nice.

You can do this with EagleFiler 1.5.
