SpamSieve with Entourage on MacBook Pro

I am trying SpamSieve on my MacBrook Pro using Entourage. I find that the whitelist is not effective in allowing good email through. Most email gets routed into the Junk folder even though the email address is on the whitelist in SpamSieve. I need to keep checking the Junk folder and I always find good email in there. This is very annoying. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

If the address is on the whitelist, the whitelist rule is enabled (checked), and Use SpamSieve whitelist is checked in the preferences, then SpamSieve will always consider messages from that address to be good. If such messages are going to the Junk E-mail folder, then either Entourage’s built-in junk mail filter is still active, you’ve not setup the SpamSieve rule(s) in Entourage as shown here, or you’ve created an additional Entourage rule that is moving the messages to the Junk E-mail folder.
