New spam trend: LinkedIn, Amazon, etc spoofs

Hi all,

With the newish trend of spams mimicking LinkedIn, Amazon, and other mainstream site emails, they are using almost exactly the same wording the real sites’ email would use.

If I train SpamSieve that these bogus emails are spam, what’s the likelihood that SS will consider actual, authentic LinkedIn and Amazon emails to be spam?

Thoughts?

If they’re spam and they get through to your inbox, I recommend training them as spam. It’s also a good idea to tell SpamSieve that some of the similar good messages are good.

Thanks Michael! Your response just reinforces the great investment I made when purchasing SpamSieve.
