Filter by score in Apple Mail

I want to move any mail with a SpamSieve score of 99 or higher to the trash. How do I do this? I can’t find anything in the manual about it.

Please see this page. Blue corresponds to 99.

Okay, I think I got it set up right, but I have a few follow-up questions:

Is it possible to filter by score without having the messages marked in color? I find the colors distracting when I am looking through the spam folder.

Does blue also include scores of 100?

What if I want the rule to apply to a score of 96 or higher?

Thanks.

Not with Apple Mail. You can do this with Mailsmith and PowerMail.

Yes.

There’s no color for 96, but it happens that gray currently means 95. So you could look for blue or gray to mean 95–100.

So blue means 99-100 and gray means 95-99? Is there a table showing the color-to-score mapping somewhere? I couldn’t find one in the manual.

I noticed that in the last year, the highest false positive score I’ve received is 95, so I was hoping to make the range exactly 96-100. Is this possible?

Except for Blue, this is subject to change, but the current mapping is:

Blue: 99–100
Gray: 95-98
Purple: 88-94
Red: 81-87
Orange: 77–80
Yellow: 50–74
White: 0–49

Not with Apple Mail. To do that you would need to use Mailsmith.
