Upgrade on DropDMG 3.0

I noticed in a thread you stated:
"It will be in DropDMG 3.0, which will be a free update for those who purchase DropDMG 2.8.5 today."

I purchased DropDMG 2.8 back in April of 07. Will I qualify for a free upgrade or will it be a minimum charge?

Is there a projected release date for 3.0?

You would not qualify for the free upgrade. The policy (http://c-command.com/store/) is:


Major upgrades (2.0, 3.0) are free if you purchased the previous version within the last six months. If you purchased longer ago than that, you get a 50% discount.

Of course, if it ends up shipping more than six months after I made that promise (http://c-command.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5604&postcount=7), the grace period would be a bit longer.

Yes, but I’m keeping it to myself. :-) I’ll release it when I think it’s done.

LoL, I understand. DropDMG is a great program I use everyday. I don't mind supporting the continued development of such a handy program.
