Can I use an imap folder located on the server for the SpamSieve spam folder instead of the local one?

OK, you can change the SpamSieve rule in Mail’s preferences so that it moves the messages to the IMAP mailbox. Then use the Change Settings command and tell it that you’re not using a local spam mailbox.
