Creates a new, empty plain text (UTF-8) file inside the selected source. Plain text files are easier to edit on iOS devices.
If the File column is visible, EagleFiler brings the filename into edit mode so that you can set the name of the newly created file. When you’re done, press Tab or Return, or click in the viewer to begin entering the contents of the file.
If the File column is hidden, EagleFiler opens a sheet that lets you enter the name of the new file.
If you enter a name containing an extension, EagleFiler uses that; otherwise, it adds .txt as the file extension.
