DropDMG Technical Support

Known Issues

1. DropDMG 3.6.7 (released March 8) is compatible with macOS 10.13 through macOS 14 and Apple Silicon Macs.
2. To use the dropdmg command-line tool from an Xcode build phase on macOS 10.14 or later, please see this page.
3. If you want to use a pre-release version of macOS or update to the latest release version as soon as it’s ready, check out the DropDMG public beta.

1. Have you checked the list of frequently asked questions?
2. If you’ve lost your purchase information, you can look up your serial number.
3. If your question is not answered above, please look in the DropDMG forum, as someone else may have recently asked the same question. We are also happy to provide individualized support via e-mail. Sample DropDMG AppleScripts are available, which demonstrate how to create images, burn images, and inspect the progress of DropDMG’s operations.

Older Versions

DropDMG 3.6.7 requires macOS 10.13 or later.

• If you have macOS 10.9 through 10.12, you can run DropDMG 3.6.4.
• If you have macOS 10.7 or 10.8, you can run DropDMG 3.5.10.
• If you have macOS 10.6, you can run DropDMG 3.5.
• If you have macOS 10.5, you can run DropDMG 3.2.4.
• If you have macOS 10.4, you can run DropDMG 2.8.6.
• If you have macOS 10.3, you can run DropDMG 2.8.4.
• If you have macOS 10.2, you can run DropDMG 2.2.

If you purchase DropDMG 3.6.7 you can request a serial number to run these older versions.
